Always be wary of the tide when by the water, especially if a storm is happening. You never know if a large wave might sweep you off your feet. A retired couple found this out the hard way while visiting the Porsguen beach. The two were by the water when suddenly, a powerful wave rushed in and literally swept the couple away.
