Alexander graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor’s degree, a Juris Doctor, and was admitted to the bar in 1986. In 2020, he released a memoir on his own. He was a Lawyer, Author and a TikTok Star on his account. In March of last year, Guinness World Records declared him the longest iron lung patient ever.  Alexander died in Dallas on March 11, 2024, at the age of 78. Although he had been hospitalized for COVID-19 in February, the actual cause of death was unclear.
